Describing a not so uncommon situation
“We were having a meeting at a customer, in the lunch area, looking at some blueprints of the building to decide where to install the 7 cabins to come.
From the smell invading the corridor there was no doubt that people smoked everywhere. Entering the lunch area, 3 dirty ash trays on the lunch table confirmed it.
After 20 minutes discussions, 3 employees came in to to the lunch area and lit a cigarette, without any hesitation. That we were in the lunch room, 5 non smokers, and that the law makes it clearly forbidden did not bother them.
I am sure they were not careless or arrogant, they just did not think about it.”
